X Factor Rejects Jedward Get Sold-Out Gig at O2 Arena

When The X Factor finished after Joe McElderry won in December, we thought we had heard the last of the two contestants which sparked the most controversy throughout the series. We are, of course, speaking about those terrible twins, Jedward.

John and Edward Grimes, dubbed Jedward by the media are now back in the limelight as they make their comeback at the National Television Awards later this month. The Irish twins, both 18, will get to perform live at the 15th anniversary of the NTA at London’s O2 Arena, which will take place on January 20th 2010 and hosted by Dermot O’Leary.

OK, so we misled you in the title by saying they got a sold-out gig. Technically the venue will be sold-out, but they ain’t all there to see Jedward, that’s for sure. Lets be honest, could Jedward sell 20,000 seats at the O2 Arena in London? Possible, but very unlikely.

It is currently unknown whether the delightful due will be performing, but if they do, it’s likely to be the one of the four performances which got positive comments from The X Factor judges.

  • The Ghostbusters Theme
  • Britney Spears Oops I Did It Again
  • Queen’s We Will Rock You.
  • Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby

We’re salivating with excitement. NOT!! On the upside, The X Factor has been nominated for best talent show category alongside Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent, Dancing  On Ice.
