Tom Cruise has left his role in the upcoming flick, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, to focus on his the fifth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, his rep confirmed the news to E! News.
The 50-year-old star before dropping the movie was set to play the leading role in remake of the 1960s TV show alongside co-star Armie Hammer. The movie will directed by Guy Ritchie.
Tom dropping from The Man From U.N.C.L.E was posted on his official Twitter account earlier on Friday (May 24), with the Tom’s collage posing as Ethan Hunt character in MI alongside the caption, “Goodbye U.N.C.L.E, hello E.T.H.A.N”.
Earlier in April, it was announced that Tom will return back as famous spy role he plays in the next MI film, Mission: Impossible 5.
Tom’s next movie, a sci-fi thriller All You Need Is Kill featuring Emily Blunt is expected to hit theaters soon.
