Sharron Davies – Dancing On Ice Week 1 Video

Sharron Davies is a woman that nobody seems to know. I saw many people on Twitter asking who she was, and saying “I thought this show was for celebrities we actually know???“. As it happens, Sharron Davies was everywhere in 1994, where she was a British Champion Swimmer who broke five World Masters Records.

And she is built more like a bloke than a woman. At nearly 6 foot tall, her performance looked clumsy and stiff, and even drew some pretty caustic criticism from Jason Gardiner, who said she looked like she had been possessed by a tree. As for constructive criticism from Jason, he said he’d just be happy to see that she was a living human being on next weeks performance, which prompted Karen to tell Jason his comments were personal insults, and not constructive criticism.

Unfortunately Sharron Davies and Pavel Aubrecht only managed to get 12.5 on the leader-board, which was low enough to put her in the skate-off with Sinitta. Luckily for Sharron, she was saved by four of the judges, with Sinitta only getting one vote from Emma Bunton. Can she improve next week, or is she destined to go out of the competition in the early stages? Only time will tell.
