In an interview with GQ Italy, Robert Pattinson has admitted that there’s some harsh side of being famous, like finding it difficult to make new friends.
After Robert, 27, and his former girlfriend Kristen Stewart, 23, ended their relationship in May this year, he also said farewell to all the friendships he shared with Kristen. So, what does this mean to the former Twilight actor?
Robert said that you need to fight to survive fame and understands that some people can’t face it and freak out. He also said that with paparazzo’s hiding everywhere, it’s very difficult to meet new people and experience new things.
Robert continued that at the start of his career, he didn’t know anyone when he first came in the US for the Twilight movie, and the only people he knew were those who gave him rides as he didn’t how to drive.
But apart from those longtime friends, Robert, unfortunately, found himself lonely after his breakup from Kristen in May, a source told HollywoodLife.com. The source said Kristen has a lot of friends she can lean on, whereas most of Robert’s friends are in England. The source added that Robert won’t chill out with Kristen’s friends anymore, now that he doesn’t have Kristen in his life, and that includes her friends as well.
However, Robert’s day of being alone might be over as he has got his friends approval to date the beautiful Dylan Penn, daughter of actor Sean Penn. The two have reportedly being dating for the moment.
So even after things got a little rough after Robert split up with Kristen, it now appears that the “Water For Elephants” star has got everything under control!
