Randy Jackson Quits “American Idol” Too!

American Idol’s “dawg” days are over as Randy Jackson quit the show, following in the footsteps of his co-judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, who both left the singing contest after two seasons.

However, Randy Jackson will remain as a “mentor” for the show. Even though sources say that Jackson is not well suited to be a mentor, but producers are feeling the need to retain him as they think that will be the show from falling apart.

Nicki Minaj is poised to replace him but it’s still not confirmed officially.

The shows honchos are well aware that Mariah Carey, who was recently hired as judge isn’t a fan of Nicki Minaj and even doesn’t want her on the table. But apparently the producers LOVE that as it will lead to some conflict and tension between them, which is a plus for the show.

As we all know, American Idol will go again for a 4th judge. Sources report that producers are looking for someone from the country music genre to fill in the 3rd seat.
