It’s just only over a month that Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton welcomed their first baby boy Prince George, and now the Duke of Cambridge announced that he will be participating in the annual Ring O’ Fire marathon, which spans an incredible 135 miles around the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
Earlier on Tuesday, (Aug. 27), the House of Clarence tweeted that Prince William will start the Ring O’Fire coastal marathon in Anglesey on Friday, Aug. 30.
The Ring O’Fire marathon is an epic foot race that is staged over three successive days and follows the spectacular and rugged view of the Anglesey coastal path that surrounds the island. The severe distance and uneven terrain makes the Ring O’Fire one of the most extreme marathons in the UK, according to the Ring O’ Fire website.
The 31-year-old royal’s marathon announcement follows after Kate, 31, made her first post-baby outing on the Anglesey Island. The Duchess of Cambridge looked svelte while going for a shopping trip, and we can easily that she’s almost lost her baby weight.
Prince William and Kate have called Anglesey their home ever since they got married in April 2011.
