Nicole Scherzinger Talks About Her Eight-Year Struggle With Bulimia

Nicole Scherzinger unveiled that after performing with her former band, The Pussycat Dolls she was in an emotional high, but later it crashed down on her with catastrophic results.

The 34-year-old singer told VH1’s “Behind The Music” show, that she felt very alone when she returned to her room after performing. She said bulimia was her addiction. Hurting herself was too her addictions.

The show which airs on Sunday, the former X Factor judge admitted that she felt embarrassed to talk about her bulimia which she say’s have been battling it for eight years.
Scherzinger says, “I never spoke about it. Like I said, I never want to play a victim, and I never wanted my family to hear about things from me because I think it would break their heart, you know?”

She said, her troubles began in 2003, when she was for the first time to wear the skimpy lingerie the Pussycat Dolls is so well known for.
“I really was so disgusted with myself. I hated myself, I never felt so alone in my life,” she added.
