New York Magazine has called Taylor Swift as the biggest pop star in the world, and revealed to the publication about her relationship requirements before becoming one of her famous muses she writes about in her music.
Taylor, 23, said that she only writes about “crazy love” and nothing else. She said if she goes on a date with two guys and they don’t match, then she won’t write a song about it. She also shared that there’s a lot of things that happens in her daily life that isn’t worth of turning it into a verse or chorus.
The “22” singer also admitted to the magazine that she heard from actor Jake Gyllenhaal,32, whom she dated for 2 months in fall 2010, after she massively successful album, “Red” was released. Taylor said she heard from a guy that the “Red” album is about, and he said when he listened the songs, it was a bittersweet experience for him, and he compared it with going through a photo album. She also said that she got crazy and ranting emails from this one “dude”.
Taylor didn’t say who was guy, but we blame her either considering that she has a long list of former boyfriends, including Joe Jonas, Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, and Conor Kennedy( too name a few), but that doesn’t tell us who that “crazy email” guy is.
Jake is hardly the first victim in Taylor’s songs. On her 2010 album, “Speak Now”, the song, “Fearless” was about Joe Jones, 24, and “Dear John” was about John Mayer, 35.
Taylor Swift also used the interview to convey a message to her haters and critics alike, saying that’s all they want, and those are real feelings every single person goes through.
