Men Make Their Dancing On Ice Debut as Bobby Davro is Evicted

So tonight was the boys chance to make their debut on Dancing On Ice, and with an extra week to learn their routines, they were most certainly more polished than the girls.

But it seems that for some contestants, even the additional week of training made absolutely no difference. Gary Lucy and Danny Young both gave brilliant routines which kicked off the show, while Bobby Davro and Dr Hilary Jones were left trailing at the bottom of the leader board with disappointing performances.

We wont give individual reviews of each performance from tonight’s Dancing On Ice, all we can say is tonight’s show was bigger and better than the girls in every way. Even Jane Torvil and Christopher Dean‘s entry performance seemed to wow more than last weeks version.

Unfortunately though, each week somebody has to go. Nobody expected Gary Lucy to be in the bottom two given his brilliant performance, but that’s exactly what happened, as he failed to pull enough votes to get him through until next weeks show. And comedian Bobby Davro joined him in the skate-off.

To be fair, there was no question of which of the two performers needed to go home tonight, and that was Bobby Davro, although loads of people on Twitter seemed to think that Dr Hilary Jones should have got the boot.

Do you agree with tonight’s result? Who do you think should have gone this evening? Comments below please…
