Katy Perry, 28, has found a new way in expressing herself and bag in some extra cash at the same time.
The “Fireworks” hitmaker is said to have signed a book deal worth $2 million for her own autobiography, following her highly publised divorce from British comedian Russell Brand. The book deal comes after Russell, 37, has inked his own memoirs, where he will most probably address his divorce from Katy in October 2010.
It’s been reported that Katy will tackle the subject head on, but this isn’t the first time she has publicly dicussed her split from Russell. The singer’s 3D concert movie, “Katy Perry: Part of Me” is said that she featured her divorce being one-sided and framed only Russell, who wasn’t willing to give in the time and travel needec to keep the marriage intact.
There’s also been rumors that Katy will also talk about her relationship with singer John Mayer in the book. The singers have been dating for a while now and things are said to be quite serious.
