Julia Roberts is admired by many, but who does she admire? She says its Meryl Streep and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress told Marie Claire’s December issue that she had numerous imaginary conversations with the 3 times Oscar-winner Meryl about both of them working. Julia featured alongside Meryl, 64, in the movie, “August: Osage County”. Julia also said you can understand people more intimately if that person comes closer to you than being on a pedestal in your mind.
Julia said that former US first lady Hillary Clinton also left quite an impression on her. She said she had interviewed Hillary, 66, for OWN, and has become a personal hero for her, as she is a woman, a mother and a humanitarian.
Julia continued that being a mother herself, she feels very lucky to spend a lot of time with Danny Moder, her husband of 11 years, and their three children, twins Finn, 8, and Hazel, 8, and Henry, 6.
She said it’s an honor and privilege for her to prepare three meals a day for her family, and it’s a luxury that she can’t even realize, as sometimes her work can be relentless on her. She also said that one’s should have pride in how the take care of their family.
Speaking of taking care, Julia admitted that she avoids to “Google” her name, as there’s anonymity which can make people feel secure and participate in hatefulness, and she has too much for collapse.
Julia’s new movie, “August: Osage County”, is slated for release on Dec. 25.
