Joan Collins for Downton Abbey

Veteran actress Joan Collins is reportedly being considered for a cameo role in an episode of “Downton Abbey, one of the highly rated television drama. Joan, who spent years on the popular drama series “Dynasty” many years ago is being considered by the producers who feel that having Joan on the show will inject glamor into the series. It is being reported that if Joan signs on, she would play the aristocratic cousin of Dame Maggie Smith’s character. A source close to the show told reporters “A number of cameos are being planned for the next series and Joan’s name is top of the list. It’s hoped she can be persuaded to appear in at least one episode.”
