Charlie’s Angels star Drew Barrymore, apparently, doesn’t want to see her daughter as an actress.
Drew, 37, who rose to fame when she appeared in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, aged 7 and admitted to rehab facility at 13, “appreciated” her journey to stardom, but she and her husband, Will Kopelman’s baby daughter of four months, Olive to be exposed to the same kind of childhood she experienced.
Drew said this while speaking to Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s March issue. She said, even though her childhood was very exposed and she doesn’t want the same thing for her kid. As a parent, this isn’t the childhood I should provide.
Appreciating her journey to stardom and living her life in the public eye, she doesn’t want that for her daughter and she didn’t sign up for that, she added.
Drew is currently expanding her career by launching, “Flower”, her own make-up line named after her production company, Flower Films.
