Christian Bale, 38, visited the Aurora cinema shooting victims in the hospital in Colorado on Tuesday. Christian Bale plays as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the movie, The Dark Knight Rise.
A local TV reporter in Denver said that Bale was spotted entering the hospital where most of the victims of the cinema’s shootings wounded are being treated.
A statement released by Susan Fleishman’s assistant told the Denver Post that, Bale was there as himself, he wasn’t representing Warner Bros. Susan Fleishman is the executive VP of Warner Bros. corporate communications.
Meanwhile, Bale alongside the rest of the crew were in Europe to promote the movie when the shooting news broke out last week. Bale also released a statement earlier offering his heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families.
The shooting spree which claimed the 12 people including a 6 year old girl occurred during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises, in a cinema in Aurora, Colorado. James Holmes, the alleged shooter was detained and was brought in court in Centennial, Colorado on Monday. He is currently being held in solitary confinement without bail.
