Celebrities Converge at ‘We Are The World’ Charity Single Studio Recording Session

In the past, when charities needed to raise funds for their charitable causes, they would have to do their own fundraising, but over the last few years, that has started to change.

Now more than ever, celebrities pitch in to help fundraising efforts for charities. Whether that be an auction, a sponsored walk, and recently, charity singles. The latest charity single is Michael Jackson‘s smash hit, We Are The World, and all the A-Lister’s came out in force yesterday to pitch in, and get their themselves some free-publicity.

Top names like Celine Dion, Barbra Steisand, Nicole Richie, Miley Cyrus, Usher, Kanye West, Jason Mraz, Akon, Jennifer Hudson and many more came out in droves yesterday as they haeaded to the Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood to record the single, which will help raise money for the Haiti Earthquake Relief fund.
