There were many suspects lined up for the killer including; Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements), Jack Branning (Scott Malsen), Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Janus), Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons), Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden),Sam Mitchell (Daniella Westbrook) and Proper East end girl Peggy Mitchell (Barbra Windsor).

The killer was revealed, on the 25th anniversary, which was marked by a live episode which was to answer the question ‘whodunit?‘
