Jimmy Osmond became the third contestant to be booted off Popstar to Operastar on Friday evening.

The Osmond’s legend and former Im A Celebrity star found himself in the bottom two alongside Danny Jones after the public’s vote came in.

The four judges, Katherine Jenkins, Meatloaf, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Rolando Villazon were then asked to decide which singer to remain in the competition. After some deliberation, all four saved Danny Jones.

Following his exit from Popstar to Operastar, Jimmy Osmond told Alan Titchmarsh that he enjoyed his time on the show, but was looking forward to returning home to his family. ”I’ve had a blast!” he said.
