Men Make Their Dancing On Ice Debut as Bobby Davro is Evicted
So tonight was the boys chance to make their debut on Dancing On Ice, and with an extra week to learn their routines, they were most certainly more polished than the girls.
But it seems that for some contestants, even the additional week of training made absolutely no difference. Gary Lucy and Danny Young both gave brilliant routines which kicked off the show, while Bobby Davro and Dr Hilary Jones were left trailing at the bottom of the leader board with disappointing performances.

Gary Lucy Is Not Happy With His Dancing On Ice Costume
Dancing On Ice contestant Gary Lucy, who is best know for his work in Soap Opera The Bill has confessed that he is not happy with his costume for this week’s routine.
He told PA: “The Lycra is interesting, but it’s the dance belt I’m struggling with at the moment to be honest, which essentially is a thong and it’s not the most comfortable of things, but I’ll get used to it hopefully.”
Lucy said that he has lost loads of weight from his Dancing On Ice training. He said “My jeans are fitting a bit baggier. It’s a nice post-Christmas workout. It’s skater’s legs and a skater’s bum I’m looking for.”

Dancing On Ice’s Gary Lucy and his Lycra Struggles
Dancing on Ice contestant Gary Lucy has admitted he’s finding his Lycra outfits a bit of a struggle.
The actor, who is best known for his character on The Bill, will perform for the first time this Sunday evening, and said he’s found his dance belt a bit of a challenge.
“The Lycra is interesting, but it’s the dance belt I’m struggling with at the moment to be honest, which essentially is a thong and it’s not the most comfortable of things but I’ll get use to it hopefully,” said Gary.
