48 year old, olympic swimmer, Sharon Davis is the 3/1 favourite skater to be eliminated from dancing on ice next week, which will see the male and female skaters skate for the first time together.

Last night we saw Bobby Davro be the first male star to hang up his skates and leave the ice for good after he was in the Skate off with Gary Lucy.

Sky Bet have lengthened the odds of Lucy winning to 6/1 (from 5/2). Hayley Tamaddon is 5/2 favourite, with the biggest market movers being former Corrie star Danny Young cut to 10/3 (from 11/2) and Boyzone’s Mikey Graham (7/2 from 13/2).

Dancing On Ice’s Sharron Davies Blasts Jason Gardiner For Upsetting Daughter

If you all tuned in to watch Dancing On Ice last Sunday when the girls took to the ice you would off saw that Jason Gardiner’s comments were reasonably unfair to Sharon. Although Sharon has taken his comments on board, her daughter is really upset by them.

The 6ft tall Olympic swimmer was partnered with Pavel Aubrecht whom they were named the tallest couple who has ever appeared on the show.

Jason gave Davies a 1.5 and he claimed she “looked possessed by a tree” had arms “like branches”. He also added: “I’d be happy if you could look human out there.”

Dancing On Ice Pulls In 10.2 Million Viewers

Last night as you may all have heard Dancing On Ice returned to our TV screens hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby and it pulled in a huge 10.2 million viewers!

It was the girls turn to take to the ice and they are Heather Mills, Danniella Westbrooke, Tana Ramsey, Sharon Davis, Sinitta, Emily Atack and Haley Tamaddon In which Sinitta got voted off.

Last night beat series 4 viewing figures for Dancing On Ice. It attracted an average of 8.9 million viewers which means 500,000 more people watched it then last series.

Sharron Davies is a woman that nobody seems to know. I saw many people on Twitter asking who she was, and saying “I thought this show was for celebrities we actually know???“. As it happens, Sharron Davies was everywhere in 1994, where she was a British Champion Swimmer who broke five World Masters Records.

Sharon Davies ‘Excited’ About Dancing On Ice Challenge

47 year old Sharon Davis formally known to be an olympic swimmer and although at the 1980 Moscow olympics she won a silver medal she has never skated before so i’m not sure if she could win a silver medal at this too!

Sharon told the daily star “For me it was the right sort of time to throw myself into a project and learn a new skill. With the Olympic games coming it was an interesting quest to do something totally different and something I can have for the rest of my life.”
