Pop singer Britney Spears took to the stage at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards last night to accept an award presented by Miley Cyrus.

The ‘Gimme More‘ singer arrived wearing a daring, tiny black sparkling dress as she accepted her Ultimate Choice Award at the annual ceremony, which recognizes the work of our teenage celebrities.

Britney spoke to her fans in the audience, aswell as her fellow celebrities by saying: “The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me, the media has criticized my every move and printed skewed perception of who i really am as a human being.“
