Carrie Underwood Donates $1 Million Oklahoma Tornado Victims

carrie underwoodCarrie Underwood has donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to assist the victims of the recent Oklahoma Tornado.

The 30-year-old singer, whose hometown is in the Oklahoma state said in a statement that she’s devastated and sad by the destruction caused by last week’s tornado and she’s offering the Red Cross the donation to comfort those affected by the recent tornados.

Neal Litvack, Red Cross’s chief development officer appreciated Carrie’s donation and said that Carrie’s generosity will help the American Red Cross for to quickly respond for food, shelter and comfort of the victims.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder star player Kevin Durant has pledged $1 million and comedian David Spade has donated $200,000 for the tornado victims.
