Ashlee Simpson Is a Bundled Up Cutie In New York City (PICS)

The super-cute 25-year-old Ashlee Simpson was seen keeping busy in New York yesterday, as she was observed getting out of a bright yellow taxi all bundled up, keeping nice and warm.

The former Melrose Place actress spent some time making her way around town before checking in at the Ambassador Theatre for a performance of Broadway Show ‘Chicago.’ Meanwhile, Ashlee Simpson is among the many celebrities encouraging their fans to donate to the Haitian Relief Efforts following the devastating earthquake recently.

She tweeted last night: “Watching CNN and proud to see how much everyone is donating. Keep it up. Text “UNICEF” to 20222 to make a $10 donation to @unicefusa.“

It’s really great to see her getting behind the campaign, as it is for all the other celebrities too. It just shows that celebrities are ‘people’ too, and do care about things like this. Well done Ashlee. We salute you!!!
