American Idol To Have Four New Judges For Next Season, Says Fox Source

american idol judgesApparently, American Idol is done with Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and for real this time, Randy Jackson.

A Fox source on Wednesday, May 8, confirmed to E! News the Idol will have a whole new judging panel, similar to the last time. When asked who will be the new judges, the source replied that depends who they get to sign up.

The source said that they judges will be leaving as the singing completion show, which is in its 12th year is in dire need of new energy as the show’s rating is down 22 percent according to The Wrap. The network and show’s producer Freemantle wasn’t available for comment.

For beginners, it’s absolutely certain that Mariah will leave the show, while for the rest that depends on who we get to take their place the insider said. The source also said there has been talks that if in the “distant future”, The X Factor gets cancelled, they may try to bring in back the original three American Idol judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

But in the meantime, it’s back to the drawing board and working out a new judging panel for the upcoming season.
